Surface Preparation/ Blasting
Field Joint Coating - Surface Preparation/ Blasting

With our own customized High Speed Automatic Closed Cycle Abrasive Blasting System, it yields higher quality and efficiency while reducing cycle time as well as providing an environment where other activities within proximity can be performed simultaneously safely.

Heat Treatment
Field Joint Coating - Heat Treatment
Our Induction Heating Systems enable fast and uniform heating without damaging the pipe’s parent anti-corrosion coating, at the same time shortening cycle times.

Coating Services

Fusion Bonded Epoxy
Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) coating is a thermosetting epoxy-based powder coating system that is widely used to provide corrosion protection for new and existing pipelines.
Field Joint Coating - Fusion Bonded Epoxy
Field Joint Coating - Multi Component Liquid (MCL)
Multi Component Liquid (MCL)
High solids amine cured epoxy formulated to provide outstanding resistance to impact, abrasion, chemical immersion, and from cathodic disbondment when used in combination with cathodic protection systems.
Flame Spray
A 3-Layer coating system with FBE as the anti-corrosion protection and a chemically modified polypropylene/ polyethylene (CMPP/ CMPE) as the intermediary layer. This system utilizes flame spray equipment dispenses powder through a controlled flame to melt the PP/PE material on a substrate to achieve a typical thickness of up to 10mm.
Field Joint Coating - Flame Spray
Field Joint Coating - 3 Layer Polypropylene System
3 Layer Polypropylene System

An automated 3-layer coating system by means of FBE with a layer of modified polypropylene adhesive, covered with polypropylene tape wrap for a to achieve comprehensive mechanical protection to field joint.

Heat Shrink Sleeve (HSS)

Anti-corrosion mechanical protection on the welded girth of pipelines or bends may be completed using either polyethylene or polypropylene heat shrink sleeves. This process can be performed manually or using an automated solution for higher quality application.

Customized Polyurethane System

A system made up of two liquid chemicals i.e. Polyol and Isocyanate; with a wide range of various formulation to cater to different applications, and requirements (Density, Open Cell System, Closed Cell System), thermal Insulation, operating temperatures and floatation requirements of field joint coating.

GARD + Polyurethane System

An excellent material suitable for the pipelines which require both thermal and mechanical protection properties with density higher than sea water. Solid Polyurethane (SPU) is also well suited for deep-water pipelines in harsh conditions or high-pressured environments.

We also supply INSUGARD+ Aggregate Mix solutions. A dry aggregate is introduced into the system to provide rigidness and maintain stability on the seabed. The system is versatile and can be used for onshore pipeline river crossings to provide negative buoyancy solutions.

Hybrid Insulation
A Half-Shell Hybrid solution that is a combination of Solid Polyurethane (SPU) and Polyurethane Foam (PUF) to achieve high level of insulation properties. This system is renowned for its cost effectiveness and characteristics of fast and easy on-site application.
Field Joint Coating - Hybrid Insulation
THERMOGARD+ Polyurethane System
An advance closed-cell system used for pipeline infill with greater insulation requirements, enabling the pipeline to meet the required U-Value and maintain consistent temperatures for flow assurances.
INSUGARD C+ Polyurethane System
Specially formulated infill solution for extreme application and condition. INSUGARD C+ is suitable for robust environment such as pipe bottom pull from open trench as well as directional drilling.

Frequently Asked Questions

FJC is applying a protective coating to the welded sections (joints) of pipelines after they’ve been joined together. This protects the pipeline from corrosion and damage.

It’s crucial for preventing corrosion at the most vulnerable points (the joints), which extends the pipeline’s lifespan and ensures its safe, efficient operation.

Yes, we provide specialized FJC solutions for both onshore land-based pipelines and challenging offshore underwater pipelines.

We use high-performance coating materials, state-of-the-art equipment, and highly skilled technicians to ensure durable and effective applications.

Absolutely. We have a strong track record and the capacity to deliver large-scale FJC projects for clients worldwide.
