Pipeline Field Joint Infill & Coating Services (1/4)
OAG is
a specialist for the application of High
Density Polyurethane Foam (HDPUF or HDPF) for pipeline field joint
in-fill. The
product is made up of a two liquid chemical system i.e. Polyol and
Isocyanate.
The
purpose of the HDPUF or HDPF system is to fill
up the
area of the pipeline field joint so that the outer diameter of the
pipeline at the field joint area is approximately the same as the other
sections of the pipeline.
The
purpose of this includes:
- To provide
protection to the pipeline at the field joint location,
- To provide a
homogeneous outside diameter for the entire length of the pipeline to
allow the pipe to move smoothly over the rollers and
- In some
instances, to provide insulation to the pipeline at the field joint
area.
