Advantages of HDPU Foam Against Mastic

HDPUF have been used for pipeline installation since the early 1980’s and have proven to be advantageous in the following areas:
  • Non hazardous – the chemicals and final product do not emit toxic fumes when dispensed and provides a safe environment for personnel in the field joint station.
  • Handling – The chemicals expand approximately 6 times the actual volume. Therefore, 6 times less materials to handle, store and transport.
  • Easy Application – Dispensing the chemicals do not require high temperature and therefore eliminate the hazard of burns to the personnel.
  • Chemicals ready to be used immediately, does not need high labor to prepare.
